Downright Demolition is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, organized working Labourer / Foreman to join our team.
This role is hands-on. You will be performing demolition work while overseeing job flow, crew output, and site organization from start to finish.
It is a fast-paced environment where punctuality, precision, and physical endurance are non-negotiable.
Your job is to show up prepared, learn quickly, and confidently execute demolition instructions while keeping your crew aligned and productive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing and leading demolition work on-site
- Operating equipment such as scissor lifts, Hiltis, ride-on floor machines, and hand tools
- Maintaining tools and managing blade changes and upkeep
- Keeping jobs moving at a high pace to stay on schedule
- Coordinating with Labourer 1s to organize debris for efficient removal
- Communicating daily with customers, Site Supervisor, and General Foreman
- Assigning daily tasks and setting clear demolition priorities
- Organizing crews and ensuring waste is continuously moving
- Training Labourer 1s to progress into Labourer 2 roles
- Running onsite safety meetings and identifying gaps or hazards
- Maintaining a productive, organized job site and reporting to the Site Superintendent

Experience & Requirements
- Construction or demolition experience is required
- Ability to lead a small crew while remaining hands-on
- Ownership of individual PPE (steel-toed 6-inch boots, hard hat, safety vest, eye protection)
Required Certifications (Must Be Current)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Construction Safety Training System (CSTS)
- Fall Protection / Fall Arrest
- First Aid
- Elevated Work Platform / Aerial Lift Certification
Applicants without valid, up-to-date certifications will not be considered.
Additional Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (ability to operate truck and trailer)
